"Spring Gold"
Acrylics - Illustration Board - 1-11-2014 This is from a Derek Wicks tutorial. There are lots of good tutorials there. I had no doubts about painting the bird or the flowers. I took on this challenge to paint a low depth of field effect without use of an airbrush. I learned a lot painting this one. It is a favorite of everyone who sees it.

"Sexy Wife"

Acrylic - 20 x 24 Masonite - 9-4-2005 I had no doubts about painting the eagle in this one. I took this painting on merely for the challenge of the rocks since I have not painted many.

Pencils - Sketch Pad - 2-4-2007 - I was wanting to create something with pencil's again, but I had no idea what. I had recently bought the Universal Monster collection. When I watched Frankenstein's Monster, I realized this would be the perfect subject to do with pencil's. Since the original movie was in black and white, any art of Boris Karloff in costume should also be rendered that way.
